ClearDoc-powered practices are fully digital — from intake to document delivery. Here is what the experience looks like for you as a patient.
Structured Online Intake
You'll complete a secure online intake form with your personal details, health history, and what you need help with — before your consultation. No physical paperwork.
HPCSA-Registered Practitioners
Every doctor on a ClearDoc-powered practice is HPCSA-registered. Their registration number appears on every document they issue and is publicly verifiable.
Phone or Video Consultation
Your consultation takes place by phone or video call. Your doctor's team will confirm the details and send you a meeting link if required.
Documents Emailed Directly
Your prescription, sick note, or certificate is generated by your doctor and emailed to you as a PDF — usually on the same day as your consultation.
Formal Invoice & Receipt
You receive a professional invoice and receipt for every consultation — with ICD-10 diagnosis codes if you need to submit to medical aid.
Follow-Up Managed Digitally
If your doctor schedules a follow-up, it is tracked in the system. You'll be contacted when it's due — no need to remember or call in.

Your doctor issues the document
When your doctor creates a prescription or certificate, a unique verification code is embedded as a QR code automatically.
You receive it by email
The PDF arrives in your inbox. Print it or show it on your phone — the QR code works either way.
Pharmacy or employer scans it
Any phone camera can scan the code. They see your doctor's name, HPCSA number, and the document details — instantly confirmed as genuine.
Tamper-proof by design
The QR code links to a read-only server record. Any altered copy of the document will fail verification immediately.

Encrypted records
Your patient file is stored encrypted and transmitted over HTTPS. Only your treating practitioner and their authorised team can access your records.
POPIA-aligned consent
Your consent is explicitly recorded — with timestamp and IP address — before any personal data is stored. You may request access or erasure at any time.
Documents sent only to you
Prescriptions and certificates are emailed to your address only. They are never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
Role-based access control
Your clinical records are only accessible to clinical staff. Reception staff cannot view your SOAP notes, diagnosis, or medical history.
